My Voice

I sat down to write my article today at a total loss. I wanted to write something profound today. I wanted to say something that would open everyone's eyes to see what I see.

I sat down to write my article today and wanted to share something that could make all children have loving parents. I wanted to reveal the secret to a successful life that ensures no one has to be hungry or homeless. I wanted to make a difference. But my voice is not strong enough.

I sat down to write my article today in hopes that this thing I have to share would pour out from me and onto the page into the hearts of everyone that read it. And as a result, would end all wars, and all mankind would unite under a common goal. But, alone, my voice is not strong enough.

I sat down today to write my article, tired and weary. I wanted to write something so compelling that it would go viral entering the hearts and minds of everyone. I wanted to write something that leaves us all dazed and confused, staring around at what we have done.
